Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger was born in July 30, 1947 in a Thal, Styria, Austria. His father was was a member of the Austrian Nazi Party who volunteered for the infamous SA and became a ranking officer.

He started his career as a bodybuilder and later turned to acting. His first film was Hercules in New York credited as Arnold Strong. He got his big break in Conan the Barbarian. Other movies include The Terminater (and its sequels), Total Recall, and End of Days.

He has talked of dreaming of being a dictator - " I didn't think about money. I thought about the fame, about just being the greatest. I was dreaming about being some dictator of a country or some savior like Jesus . . ."

Schwarzenegger was appointed Chairman of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports in the administration of George H. W. Bush from 1990 to 1993. In 2003, he became 38th Governor of California.
